About the Sri Chardham Yatra Package:
– Char Dham Yatra or a trip of four prominent Hindu temples is believed to provide “Moksha” to the wandering souls. This trip usually starts from Rishikesh and ends in Badrinath. All the four dhams are located amidst the lofty hills and the mesmerizing beauty.
– Start the tour of the Chardham yatra package by reaching Rishikesh and admire the sight of mighty little diyas twinkling within the river Ganga and offering a sight to behold. Enroute towards the queen of hills – Barkot and enjoy the journey as you pass through the misty roads of Mussoorie.
– Day two of the Chardham tour package will be filled with surprises as you lead towards Yamunotri, the origin point of River Yamuna. To reach here, one needs to trek for around 6 to 8 hours. The beautiful temple dedicated to the River Yamuna offers a blissful aura and provides calmness to the minds of visitors. The area is also home to Jamunabai Kund, where people from all over the country come to offer prayers and do “visarjan” on the Divya Shila.
– You will visit Leave towards Uttarkashi on the third day of the trip, the capital city of Uttarakhand. Situated on the banks of Bhagirathi, Uttarkashi is famous for its historical structures and the plethora of activities it offers. Here you will get a chance to marvel at the 6 meters big Trishul in the Shakti Temple. Situated in the heart of the town is Vishwanatha Temple, which is one of the oldest temples of Lord Shiva.
– The fourth day of the trip will take you to Gangotri, the birthplace of River Ganga. Admire the view of Ganga flowing in full force and experience the serenity while sitting along its banks. Marvel at this giant white granite temple offering a beautiful sight to behold. Offer prayers and listen to the holy hymns and aartis being played as you lead towards seeking the blessings.
– The fifth day of the tour will start by checking out from Uttarkashi and getting transferred to Guptkashi. A glance at the mesmerizing sight of Baghirathi and Alakhnanda coming together at Devprayag. After reaching Guptkashi, attend a blissful prayer at Ardhnarishwar Temple – a temple dedicated to the half-male and half-female form of Lord Shiva.
– The sixth day will start as you travel towards Gaurikund, which is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva expressed his love for Goddess Parvati. There is a small pool of hot water, which originated naturally and stays warm all year round.
– From Gaurikund, you will ascend towards Kedarnath and will get a chance to marvel at the beauty of Kedarnath Temple located amidst the snow-capped Himalayas. Praise the mighty Lord Shiva as you enter the temple and experience pure haven while listening to the ringing bells and holy prayers being offered.
– The seventh day of the trip will be spent traveling from Kedarnath to Gaurikund and Gaurikund to Guptkashi.
– The eighth day will start by traveling towards Badrinath and reaching your comfy stay. This whole town will shower you with the blessings of Lord Vishnu. Do not forget to marvel at the holy confluence of River Alaknanda and River Mandakini. Enjoy some quaint and spiritual time here before leaving for your stay.
-The ninth day of the trip will be spent in the Badrinath temple where the Morning and Evening aartis will offer some blissful sights. Enjoy the pony rides as you lead towards the temple and admire the beauty it has to offer. Get a chance to soak in the holy waters of hot springs, known as Tapt Kund.
– The last day of the trip will take you back to Rishikesh from where you can leave back to your homes carrying millions of memories.
